Dr. Ravaei is an extremely competent foot and ankle specialist who is certified by the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics, one of the two boards certified by the American Podiatric Medical Association. He is currently licensed in four different states. He received his training at Temple University, School of Podiatric Medicine. He received his post-doctoral training in several different institutions across various states; he has spent many years to combine and refine the techniques and treatments he has trained at a number of locations to provide the optimum treatments for his patients. He has also performed over six thousand surgical procedures.

Dr. Ravaei in the past has held the position of Chief of Department of Podiatric Surgery at Saint Joseph Hospital. During the time that he held the position, he trained many residents and students who are now in successful practice. For two consecutive years, 2004-2005, he was awarded the title of Best Teaching Attending by the students and residents. He enjoys teaching and providing different techniques to various foot and ankle problems.

Dr. Ravaei has also been featured in several news articles and TV Newsmagazine. In these news outlets he has been asked about his innovative techniques and unique approach. Many physicians attempt to correct the structural deformity; however, they care very little about the cosmetic results, leaving patients with unsightly results. Dr. Ravaei has encountered many patients with less than desirable results and has attempted to correct such problems. He has a particular interest in corrective and cosmetic foot surgery.

He is very competent in every aspect of these podiatric surgeries; some of these treatments include conditions of the fungal toenail, foot neuronal, varicose veins, athlete’s foot, abnormalities within the toes, and so much more. He understands how significant it is for patients to look good, feel good, and be pain free. Dr. Ravaei currently has seven locations in southern California. All of these locations are close to major highways, major cross sections and public transportation so patients can access any office with ease. Some locations are equipped with the latest digital X-ray machines that expose patients to the least amount of radiation and provide amazing images instantly.

We are pleased to announce the addition of a brand new laser machine to our practice. Lasers have many uses in medical practices. Laser is used in medicine to improve precision work like surgery. To make sure of this, lasers are used both to measure and to point in the area in question. Birthmarks, warts and discoloring of the skin can easily be removed with an unfocused laser. The operations are quick and heal quickly and, best of all, they are less painful than ordinary surgery performed with a scalpel. The latest use of lasers has been in treatment of fungal nails.
